It's these little things that make the difference.
I am now in Seoul. Within a few hours I ran across the term "UCC" twice, once in the main news on TV and once in my first business meeting with a few young entrepreneurs who are building an innovative e-learning site here.
UCC stands for "User Created Content", a term that most people back in the U.S. would not use in their daily conversation. But here apparently it is. I think it tells a lot about the degree of Internetization of this country, which is at the forefront of, I think, Internet access and mobile phones, worldwide.
Oh, talking about cellphones: I have just seen a small, nice and light cellphone which runs on GSM, CDMA, and Japan's JCDMA. It's not 3G, it's cross systems! It's from Samsung (Model SCH-V920) and can roam in 90 coutries. More about it here.
Why the heck don't we have this in the U.S. or Europe?
Sigh.
